This is a phenomenon that is growing like a weed, because I've noticed several of these poor children on the beach this week. I'm not talking about teenagers but small children! For the love of everything good and holy, why would any parent allow their child to have a freaking Mohawk haircut? Not only is it classless, but it's just bad parenting. And yes, I know I'm not a parent. But, by God, I know I'd be better than any schmuck who'd let their kid out of the house looking like a Travis Barker mini-me. What's next, tats and piercings? Serenity now!

Parents must think it's cute or cool for some reason. Probably just to get a rise out of people. I do have to confess to giving my little guy a fauxhawk when he has shampoo in his hair.
I can understand the reason for a mohawk if perhaps the kid's parents were part native... but otherwise, I have no idea why they would put one on their kid's head.

Ok thats not fair; Mohawks do not lead to tattoos. My son wanted a mohawk because he liked that they were different, so I let him (after his birthday pictures) I mean what the heck? it's only hair and within 3 weeks he got sick of it and we shaved it off. FYI Hair grows back, my son also wanted his ear pierced, that I said "no" cause thats perminent (see the Huge difference) Whats so wrong with being different from our parrents and say just let the kid have some fun with innocent things. My parents made sure our clothes and hair were just right; guess who rebelled. Just because you think it lacks class does not mean you have to dis every parent who may feel different. I mean really, you people are going to judge someones parenting on a hair cut???

last I checked I'm the parent and I get my kids hair cut how I want...I seriously doubt that kid picked to have a stupid Mohawk..only redneck hillbillies would do that to their kid...Heck the parents probably have Mohawks too! If you want a Mohawk for Christs sake get a bad ass Mohawk like some liberty spikes or something.
I love this hairdressers because I think that it is so modern and popular in many important countries, so I think that ""Kids With Mohawks - Why?"" is a great blog.

The kid in the example photo above is old enough to make his own choice about hair cut and style so potentially not the parents fault and I don't see anything wrong with it. It's just a hairstyle. Hair grows back if they decide later that they don't like it. The only thing I see wrong with this comment is your need to bring it up in the first place and being judgy about it
